Braden Frager and Pryce Sandfort combined for 51 points to lead Nebraska to an 88-84 win over Kansas State in front of a sellout crowd at the BigIron Events Center. NTV’s Randy Silver wraps the game from Grand Island.

Frager posted a game-high 28 points and 10 rebounds. Sandfort added 23 points, while Damon Wilkinson chipped in 12 off the bench.

The Huskers held off a late Kansas State rally and went 6-for-6 at the free-throw line in the final 30 seconds to secure the win.

Nebraska opens the regular season Monday, Nov. 2, against Le Moyne.
