What is Financial literacy? It is the confluence of financial, credit, and debt management knowledge that is necessary to make financially responsible decisions—choices that are integral to our everyday lives. 

A lack of financial literacy affects people in developed or advanced economies, as well as those who live in emerging or developing countries.  In sum, financial literacy has a material impact on individuals, families, and businesses: balancing a budget, buying a home, running a business, funding their children’s education, and ensuring an income for retirement.

My guest Michael Hsu is an entrepreneur and CFO. He built a financial consulting firm called DeepSky working with entrepreneurs advising their multi-million businesses through systems and processes. He took his experience in entrepreneurship and condensed it into a methodology named MEASURE x HACK to serve as a guide to building a successful business, life, and relationship. It teaches anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit to build a system and processes, learn financial literacy, and create business hacks tailored to their goals. Its end goal is to hand back financial freedom to people who seek it.
