We all make mistakes in our life. Some mistakes are more severe than others. In some cases, these mistakes are breaking the law and lead to prison time. This can create a negative loop that people aren't able to break out. However, our guest this week Monique Turner broke out of this loop! Monique Turner is a keynote speaker, author, and youth advocate, who works with organizations, individuals, and families to transform their lives. Monique ended up in federal prison at 25 for 5 years. She used her time away to really change the direction of life and make a positive impact on the world. After Monique left prison, she seeks to transform and uplift the voices of the underserved and unheard. She has helped over 15,000 at-risk youth and formerly incarcerated individuals reclaim their lives and discover their true purpose.
