For many people, discrimination is an everyday reality. It is unfortunate we are still dealing with discrimination today in many different forms and ways. For Leap of Fate Pod 57, we explore this and how government can play a big part.

I bring on Jeff Le, a seasoned federal and state government worker who talks about his experiences in the US Government and trying to pass policies. In addition, he talks about discrimination and hate (especially Asian hate) he and his family have experienced over their life that has been amplified this past year.

Discrimination is the unfair or prejudicial treatment of people and groups based on characteristics such as age, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. We have seen this all across history for many different groups of people and it is still widely prevalent today. Asian hate in America has exploded due to rhetoric around Covid19.

We go overworking in the government, government policy, stopping discrimination and so much more in this week's pod.
