The Cerro Colorado Social Club is one of more than 300 locations that have been temporarily converted into #COVID19 vaccination centres in remote parts of #Uruguay 🇺🇾.⁣
⁣
Fredi Giménez was glad that vaccinators traveled to towns in the interior part of the country. “It’s important because some people can’t get to the city,” he said. "I came by horse. But there are some people who can’t get to the cities for financial reasons.”⁣
⁣
Almost 2.4 million people in Uruguay have been fully vaccinated, including more than 150,000 people living in remote or rural locations.⁣
