Luka and Austin Reaves belong in that BEST BACKCOURT conversation 😤🔥

These two can put a defense through a long night. Luka draws so much attention every time he has the ball, and having another guard who can create, score and make the right read gives the Lakers so many ways to attack.

And Austin can do more than finish a play Luka creates. Give him the ball and he can break his defender down, work his way into the paint and find a bucket. The handle, footwork and patience make him dangerous even when the defense takes away his first option 😮‍💨

Both know how to use a change of pace to get somebody leaning. Both can punish a mismatch. And when one gets the defense scrambling, the other knows how to take advantage.

That’s what makes this pairing so tough. They can take turns running the offense, play off each other and give LA two options when a possession gets tight. You have to stay disciplined against BOTH of them for the entire game.

Where do Luka and Reaves rank among the league’s best backcourts? 👀🍿
