Happy #WorldOkapiDay! Did you know that okapis are the closest living relatives of giraffes? 🦒

Found only in the dense rainforests of the Democratic Republic of Congo, these shy, solitary animals are well-camouflaged by their zebra-like stripes. On #WorldOkapiDay, our dedicated docent volunteers are here to share insights into how these incredible creatures use their long, flexible tongues to grab leaves and their keen hearing to stay alert in the forest.
