This flow visualization shows why shape matters in fluid dynamics 🌊💨

When fluid (air or water) flows past an object, two big things control drag:
• Pressure differences
• Flow separation & vortices

🟥 Square object
Sharp edges force the flow to separate early → large turbulent wake → strong pressure drag.
Those swirling vortices behind it? That’s lost energy.

⚪ Circular object
Smooth curvature lets the flow stay attached longer → smaller wake → lower drag coefficient.

That’s why:
• Cars are rounded
• Aircraft fuselages are cylindrical
• Tall buildings often have chamfered or curved edges

Same size. Same speed.
Wildly different physics.

💬 Comment: What shape do you think has the lowest drag — sphere or teardrop?
