We ❤️ our public lands in📍Colorado

We have so many beautiful places to see + explore in Colorado and I am grateful every day that I live here. 4 beautiful National Parks in this state alone and numerous national monuments.

Our National Parks, National Monuments, and public lands are at risk with the great decrease in staffing across the U.S.

Your first inclination to reading this may be to keep scrolling. But I ask that you think of what small (but large) part you can do to protect these beautiful places.

We can:
- Follow Leave No Trace Principles. It’s not hard to do and this will make a big difference!

- Volunteer your time- to trail clean up locally or with an organization

- Consider making a donation to a local park or larger organization such as
npcapics
nationalforests
nationalparkservice
nationalparkfoundation
trustforpublicland
wnpa_1938

- Contact your local Congressional representatives

What I will be doing:
- Always following LNT principles + educating others on the importance of doing the same
- Donating time to trail clean up and cleaning up when I do see trash on a trail
- Contacting our Congressional representatives

Thank you for being here + reading this post. Have a great rest of your week!
