Does anyone else struggle to relax during downtime? I’ve been feeling properly burnt out lately and I know that I desperately need a bit of R&R, but I get that overwhelming feeling of guilt that I should be working on my business and it just wrecks it.

It’s a pretty common problem, especially among freelancers, because when we’re not working, we’re usually not getting paid. But also, our time is precious, so when we’re not achieving anything or accomplishing a goal we tend to feel like that time is wasted.

So here’s a solution. Lego!

Building this lego car requires bugger all brain input. It’s a simple task that takes my mind off work, but at the end of I actually have something to show for it in this friggin amazing little Bugatti Veyron. And you know what, I feel brilliant and like that was time well spent.

And who knows, with this kind of mindset, maybe I’ll own my own Bugatti one day.
