I’m delighted to have won Logo Battle #162 on Reddit’s /r/logodesign/ channel. And as the winner, I get to come up with the brief for the next competition! 

Every two weeks the community runs a logo design challenge, in which entrants are given a brief for a fake client (more details of the winning entry on my last post). Here’s my brief for Logo Battle #163! Why not give it a go and enter at reddit.com/r/logodesign

**NAME**
Ányos Autosport

**DESCRIPTION**
Ányos Autosport is a motor racing team that is aiming to compete in Formula E, the single seat motorsport championship that uses only electric cars.

Named after Ányos Jedlik, who is considered to have built the very first electric motor in 1827, Ányos Autosport is looking for a team logo that works well across multiple formats. The logo will need to sit well on the racing car, team trucks, fireproof racing suits, helmets and on the wall of the team’s factory in Hungary.

While electric cars are largely eco-friendly, the team are not looking for a logo around eco or green themes. The team represents power, precision and ultimately speed. They are open to colour suggestions, but the main demographic for the Formula E audience is males under the age of 35.
Finally, Ányos Autosport will be launching an app to coincide with their entry into the championship (with team news, live laps times, exclusive content, etc). So the logo must have a suitable logomark, or variation that sits neatly within an app icon.
