On Monday I posted an animation of my logo design to Reddit and received quite a lot of negative comments.

"Are you kidding? The logo is just a bunch of squares! If I showed this to a client I'd be laughed out of the room”, etc, etc.

I’ve been in the game a while, and I’ve developed a pretty thick skin over the years. But after more than 10 years as a logo designer, it still hurts when someone critiques your work without providing constructive feedback. 

Negative feedback is inevitable at some point in your career. Just keep your cool, follow these steps and you’ll be fine…
