And we had the privilege of turning a few of its stories into silk. At Hotel del Coronado, history isn’t just something you read about. It’s in the chandeliers designed by the man behind The Wizard of Oz. The mysterious woman who has watched over the hotel through stained glass since 1888. The hand-painted fresco hidden for generations. And the Naiad Queen who disappeared for nearly a century before finding her way home. Four stories. Each with its own little piece of The Del’s past. And each thoughtfully illustrated into a custom silk scarf. When Hotel del Coronado approached us to create a gift for its investors, we knew it had to be more than something beautiful to unwrap.
