VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, and Association of Cochin Nephrologists (ACN), jointly organized DELITE 2022, 4th Annual Kidney Transplant Update, an update programme on Kidney  Transplant,  on 23rd and 24th July at Le Meridien, Kochi. Spotlight will be on recent advances in renal transplantation, rejections and infections in transplant patients and the treatment and Covid 19 and Kidney Transplantation. 
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Chacko Korula Jacob, Former professor and HOD of Nephrology, CMC Vellore on 23rd July. “Though Kidney  Transplantation is a very effective treatment with more than 95% success rate, a lot of challenges lie ahead including organ shortage and compatibility issues’’, said  Dr Abi Abraham M, Director of Nephrology and Renal transplantation, VPS Lakeshore  Hospital.  Dr K V Johny (VPS Lakeshore  Hospital), Dr Mohan Mathew (VPS Lakeshore  Hospital), Dr Shyam Bansal (Director, Nephrology, Medanta Medcity, Delhi), Dr. R K Sharma, Senior Consultant Nephrologist, Medanta Medcity, Lucknow, Dr. Suceena Alexander, Professor of Nephrology, CMC Vellore, Dr. Narayan Prasad, Professor and head of Nephrology, SGPGI Lucknow and Secretary Indian Society of Nephrology, and Dr. Vivek Kute ,Professor of Nephrology, IKDRC Ahmedabad and Secretary of Indian Society of Organ Transplantation spoke at the event.
The programme concludes on 24th of July and will have participation by national and international faculty.
