Buying a home is great. Struggling to make the mortgage payment is NOT. 

Most banks will approve people to borrow a lot more than they should. It's up to you to make a wise decision for your wallet. I only recommend 15-year mortgages. Why? Well, the home gets paid off in no more than 15 years, AND you'll save hundreds of thousands of dollars on interest compared to a 30-year loan.
