Let’s whip up an easy breezy Orange & Pomegranate Bourbon Fizz for NYE! 🥳 It’s made with pomegranate simple syrup, fresh orange juice, bourbon, and your favorite sparkling juice. @Wüsthof’s artisan-crafted paring knife makes cutting open large fruits like oranges & pomegranates a breeze! And their peeling knife lets you make fancy drink garnishes (like these orange peel twists!) like a pro. 🎉✨Happy New Year! #21plus

Recipe:

½ cup pomegranate juice
½ cup granulated sugar

Add sugar and pom juice to a small pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, and whisk constantly until sugar is dissolved. Set in fridge to cool.

4 large oranges
½ cup bourbon
Sparkling juice or ginger ale, for topping
Pomegranate arils & orange peel, for garnish

Juice the fresh oranges, straining to remove any pulp. You should have ~2 cups. Add ½ cup of the simple syrup, the bourbon, and the orange juice to a shaker with ice and shake. Pour into glasses, and top with sparkling juice. Garnish with orange peel and fresh pomegranate arils. Enjoy! Remaining pomegranate simple syrup can be refrigerated for future cocktails.
