I have a genuine question for the creative industry.

Recently, our team at Fresh Tape Media completed a VFX project for a client. The work went live, and when I started reading through the comments, I noticed an overwhelming number of people making the assumption it was AI.

Except... it wasn't. It was the work of some incredibly talented VFX artists.

And it got me thinking about how much AI has changed the way audiences perceive creative work.

We're getting to a point where anything that looks digitally impressive, surreal, or almost too good is immediately assumed to be AI-generated.

Which is a pretty frustrating reality for the people who have spent years mastering their craft.

Sometimes we're able to share behind-the-scenes breakdowns or making-of videos that show the actual work involved. But that's not always possible, especially when you're creating content for clients.

So I'm genuinely curious how other agencies, production companies, and creative teams are navigating this.

Do you jump into the comments and explain the process? Do you proactively share more of the making-of? Or do you just let the work speak for itself, even when people are getting it wrong?

Because I don't think this perception is going away anytime soon, and I'd love to hear how others are handling it.
