10 years into my career, and i’m finally taking a 3-month sabbatical ✈️

i’m a millennial eye doctor who just completed her master of public health, presented research on ai-driven diabetic eye screening, and just presented on a national stage in my field. 

and now? i’m taking a break. not because i’m burned out. not because i’m quitting my job. but because i made a promise to myself 10 years ago that i’d make time to pause, travel, and simply enjoy life outside of work.
