This is why the dangers of storm surge is expressed so much during Hurricanes. The destruction left behind can not be survived. Houses completely slabbed to their foundations, roofs torn off, and cars float down the streets. Horseshoe Beach, Florida took an extremely hard hit from Hurricande Idalia leaving some of the area unrecognizable
