## Caption

What a ride. Didn't go exactly how I planned it would but #Idalia packed a punch. Left Cedar Key last minute due to a more western track, forcing me to target the wind vs surge. Rode out the hurricane via car in Perry, Florida where trees came crashing down all around me.

I'm currently in Horseshoe Beach where they took a devastating hit from the surge. Homes have been swept clean.

As for me, I'm beyond exhausted. Wish I had better planning for this, but I made do
