Every moment of everyday things are happening in our lives for a reason. Good, bad, or ugly. I do believe there's a reason for it. Back in June I almost didn't chase the infamous Malta, Montana mothership due to it being out of the way for the following chase day. But, I grinded through it and chased anyway. Which lead to the best storm photos I have ever taken which went completely gangbusters on social media.

Fast Forward to a month ago a total stranger named david_erichsen_photo reached out to me on Instagram seeing if I had interest in going to Alaska in a few weeks since I seemed like the person for a last minute adventure such as this. He found me because of my Malta shots and of course I said yes to the trip. Little did I know I was about to have a new friend that would instantly be like a brother and have the most insane two weeks of my life. I lost my creative bug for a long time due to lack of motivation and focusing on video.

I feel like I just picked up a camera for the first time again and have the passion reignited. Everyday for the last two weeks it seems we have scored something insane. Aurora, flight shots over Denali, and a week straight of epic sunsets and sunrises over the best fall color in 5+ years in Southwest, Colorado. All thanks to another photographer reaching out on social media. Last night and this morning offered the grand finale after we hiked up a steep ridge line to overlook the Owl Pass Valley and the whole landscape ignited in Gold and the sky got coated in red. It was absolutely mesmerizing
