Hurricane Delta was a first of many things for me. First time experiencing legit storm surge, first greek hurricane intercept and the most unbelievable thing? First time seeing the sunset midway through the second part of the eyewall! The whole sky lit up deep purple and red as the storm surge came charging in. Insane video to come of waves bigger than trees and overtopping piers. Storm surge has really piled in within the last hour and is up to my waist in the road. Incredible experience and incredible stories to tell from this one. Just, wow
