We Went To The World's Largest Gathering of Micronations #geography #micronations #ironland #maps #montreal Every two years, the leaders of the world’s micronations gather for one extraordinary summit called MicroCon. This year, it was held in Montreal, and our micronation of Ironland was proud to be one of 45 nations in attendance. The first day of the conference just so happened to coincide with Ironland’s very first birthday! Over the course of four days, we enjoyed formal balls, diplomatic receptions, and plenty of time for mingling and conversation. I’m looking forward to sharing more in-depth coverage of what the event was like, but for now, I’m simply excited to give you this first glimpse. It’s such a welcoming and supportive community- I don’t really know of other subcultures where teenagers and 70 year olds regularly connect and cheer each other on in their projects. @slowjamastan @sealandgov @therepublicofmolossia
