⁠One thing’s for sure, healthcare is changing. ⁠
⁠
There are a LOT of things about our U.S. healthcare system that just. aren’t. right. ⁠
⁠
People are leaving the bedside, and honestly, I don’t blame them. ⁠
⁠
Unsafe staffing conditions, minimal time off, punitive management, and unfair compensation? Say less. ⁠
⁠
More and more nurses enter the field knowing they want to become a CRNA, or are quicker to feel that itch to move on from their ICU positions. ⁠
⁠
While I definitely believe that you should get adequate critical care experience before applying to CRNA school, it’s also true that there’s no time like the present to become a CRNA. ⁠
⁠
With anesthesia providers being in incredibly high demand, the ball is in our court when it comes to getting the pick of the litter job-wise. ⁠
⁠
And employer loan repayment/tuition assistance? It’s coming back people! This used to be a think 10+ years ago, and now I’m hearing of bigger sign on bonuses, tuition repayment options, and even employer coverage packages. ⁠

The CRNA world is changing, and in my eyes, for the better!⁠
