OB can sometimes be like the wild west. Not everyone loves it. ⁠

You have to be quick to make decision, really (I mean REALLY) try to keep track of blood loss, and you have to be able to troubleshoot. ⁠

Epidurals and spinals questionably working? Troubleshoot. ⁠
OB says there’s not much blood loss but patient saying they’re nauseated and is tachycardic? Troubleshoot. ⁠
In the middle of a C-Section and the patient says they can “feel” it? Troubleshoot. ⁠

OB keeps you humble, that’s for sure. ⁠

How do we feel about OB? Love it? Hate it? ⁠

I like it during the day when my CRNA friends are around and my epidurals all work nicely. Hahaha. ⁠
