FAQ- what’s the difference between a DNP VS DNAP? At the end of the day, the DNP vs DNAP is pretty much interchangeable. ⁠

If you want to teach at a nursing school as a faculty member you'll want to go for the DNP because some nursing schools don't recognize the DNAP as a terminal degree. Don't ask me why. ⁠

BUT - with either the DNP or DNAP you can teach at a CRNA program 👏. ⁠
⁠
Both degrees produce the same prepared, independent CRNA, clinically speaking. ⁠
⁠
It really just has to do with who the anesthesia program is tied to for accreditation, the School of Nursing, or School of Health Sciences. ⁠

At the end of the day, what degree you graduate with (unless you specifically want to teach at a nursing school) doesn't matter so much and wouldn't weigh into my school picking choices, personally speaking of course. ⁠
