*insert sheer panic* 

Uh…well, I hang it every day but hot diggity dog I have no clue what that 0.9% means….

So 0.9% NS means: 

0.9g of NaCl per 100mL 

OR 

9g per L. 

Furthermore, we got 154 mEq of Na and 154 mEq of Cl per 1000ml. 

Any SRNAs want to break down the composition of LR for us? 🙌🏽
