Did you know that our products already went to the moon? 🌕🚀
In the early years of the space program, NASA asked Nestlé to develop bite-sized food. Those needed to be packed full of all the nutrients the astronauts needed to stay healthy in space. Nestlé produced high-calorie “space cubes” made of concentrated natural products, which were taken on several Apollo space flights. Nescafé Gold – the new freeze-dried version of Nescafé – was also included in the rations taken on the Apollo 11 flight that landed on the moon in 1969.
