I was really glad to take part in a workshop on sustainable coffee farming.
In Vietnam we are working in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) to support the livelihood of 50’000 farmers by improving their practices for irrigation of coffee in the Central Highlands. Vietnam is the biggest producer of Robusta coffee globally and the N.1 supplier of coffee for our Nescafe products.
The project team (Nestlé, SDC, EDE) presented latest findings at the national workshop organized by the Vietnam Coffee Coordination Board (VCCB). It is critical to disseminate our findings in the whole coffee sector of Vietnam in order to allow scale up of good agriculture practices.
