Welcome to episode 17 of #humanfriday where we introduce team members and friends of the brand. Today we meet Isabelle Ruckstuhl, Sales Support/Administration in the Chronoswiss Lucerne atelier.

“In a small independent family company everybody does everything. We help each other, and we have a great team spirit,” says Isabelle Ruckstuhl with a laugh.

After two decades in sports marketing and events management, she changed her career path three years ago, and in February 2021 she joined Chronoswiss.

How would you describe your work?
“We are in an interesting phase right now inventing and implementing new procedures including improved e-commerce and digital presentations. In a nutshell we are making Chronoswiss more accessible and more personal for our customers.”

How would you describe the teamwork at Chronoswiss?
“As soon as I met the team, I knew that this is where I wanted to work. I love working with people, and the people you work with you see more than anyone else in your life. So you want to have fun, look forward to going to work – and I do.”

 What makes it so great?
“With this team you can make the impossible possible. When we have a task to do, we do it; we are all going in the same direction. And we have a lot of fun together doing so.” 

What do you do outside of work?
“I love travelling alone. Ah, to be in a new big city without a plan! To meet new people, talk to the people you bump into, see new things . . . it’s the best! At home I love seeing my friends, talking all night. I also love reading – for instance Haruki Murakami and Paul Auster.” 

Which is your favourite timepiece?
“I love long, hand-executed guilloché patterns like on the Open Gear ReSec Big Wave. They give me the feeling of standing by an ocean and gazing at a horizon far, far away. We have also talked about making something similar but with desert sand dune colours – I think this would be amazing!”
