## Caption

Meet Michaël! He is a forester and works with us to restore the forests above the Henniez sources. In the 1980s, 70,000 trees were planted to protect the water of Henniez. However, these woods are mainly patches of dark monocultural conifers - not great to filter the water that seeps through the soil. In the coming years Michaël and his team will cut one in four trees to allow sunlight, local plant species and biodiversity come back into the forest.
