LaTosha Brown could never stand bullies. Growing up in the American South, she came in contact with plenty. Her desire to see people treated fairly has fueled a lifelong dedication to social change. Among her many accomplishment as an award-winning thought leader and social strategist, Brown is the co-founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund, which works to increase power in underserved communities through voter registration and turnout, as well as advocating for policies to expand voting rights and access to the ballot box. In the fourth episode of What’s Eating America, LaTosha reveals, “It's one thing to have a system, it's another thing to have people who… feel their own sense of power, that they're willing to go through whatever means to transform the system.” #whatseatingamerica
