Marriage advice that I have come to live by! If you can recognize the schemes of the devil, recognize the cracks in which he often slips through in your home, I promise: You find that the battles don’t last as long, the weapons don’t seem as powerful, and the moments without peace are few and far between. The Bible says Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. In second Corinthians, the apostle Paul urged the church at Corinth not to be ignorant of Satan’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11) When we’re aware of the tactics of the Enemy, we will be better equipped to stand against his devices.

 Hebrews 12:15 warns how roots of bitterness cause trouble and defile many relationships — beginning with your marriage and spilling over into your connections with your children. Recognize those first feelings of resentment or bitterness, before they take root and the enemy begins winning over territory that will become harder and harder to get back. 

Consider how many times God has protected you and your family from spiritual warfare.. Think about it often and tell others!  Deuteronomy 4:9 instructed the Israelites, “Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and grandchildren..
