I wasn’t always that mom,
I didn’t become that mom until I began working through my own childhood trauma, and I realized that some of the things I experienced, were preventable. And if me being over protective can potentially stop my children from experiencing the things I went though, then it’s worth it. 
I’ll be that mom,
I’ll work to protective them even when society says I’m too much.
Even when people question my “no.”
Even when others are offended that I “won’t allow.”
I’d rather be over protective and eventually realize there’s room to wiggle, or certain situations I CAN trust. 
Then to be under protective and accidentally allow my children to be in a situation that could have been prevented 🤍🤍
