This steakhouse has a fun southwestern twist and is perfect for a family dinner if you’re #hungryindallas!! 

theranchlc is about 20 minutes outside of Dallas, has a HUGE dining area with live music on the patio Tuesday - Saturday. The rustic vibes and service make it a great pick to take visitors for a slice of #Texas culture.

We went to celebrate a birthday and our waitress was SO great. 🎂

What my group ordered:
Starters - 🧀 Chefs Favorite 4 and Fried Okra
Garlic stuffed and regular filets with whipped potatoes
Cadillac Burger with fries 🍔
Blackened Catfish on rice and jambalaya
Chicken fried steak 🥩 
🍕Margarita pizza without pesto sauce (nut allergy)

It’s no surprise that the highlights of the meal where the steaks and burger! They locally sourced their meat and it shows. 

The fish and pizza were just okay, I wouldn’t order them again. But let’s talk about that DESSERT 😍

We got a complimentary order of the fried s’mores pie, which was so fresh and amazingly gooey. The graham cracker sauce was a little too sweet but you didn’t even need it with the pie filling. 🍫

Now the Route 66 Pecan pie was a show stopper. Huge portion and my mom who’s an avid pecan pie fan said it was one of her favorites. (I thought it was good too but don’t have much to compare it too).

📍So if you’re looking for a fun spot in the burbs or need somewhere to take family when they get in from the airport I recommend trying The Ranch! Definitely make reservations because even on a Wednesday it was packed.
