They say the best way to experience your own city is to act like a tourist right? This is a classic Dallas tourist attraction that will keep you coming back! 

I spent the day at the  dallasmuseumart and klydewarrenpark! 

There is so much to see at the #DMA! The exhibits are constantly changing, I’ve been a few times and always see something new.

There’s an exhibit called Slip Zone! “A new look at postwar abstraction in the Americas and East Asia” A mix of paintings, and sculptures using gorgeous colors and innovative design. 🎨 This one is eye catching and will likely be the first you see.

If you have time for more, I recommend the Naudline Pierre: What Could Be Has Not Yet Appeared and the Paintings Conservation Studio if you’re interested in behind the scenes. 👩‍🎨

Admission is Free!!! So don’t feel bad if you get tired or hungry after 2 exhibits, you can come back!! I paid $15 for parking in the garage but you can also find street parking depending on the day. 

🍽 When the hunger hits, go across the street to Kylde Warren Park for food trucks or micocina on the Park. There’s also miriamcocinadallas one street over that I recommend trying!😋

You can’t go wrong with their classic margaritas, my personal favorite the Mambo Taxi, or the Dilemma. The Paloma is also a go to if you like grapefruit! 🍹

Can’t decide between guac or queso? Get the guac and get your fajitas “Sunset Style” instead!😍 

#micocina is not a hidden secret by any means but some locals overlook it for being “basic” so I thought I’d include it!

Sometimes you’ve gotta embrace your inner tourist and explore Dallas with no shame 😎
