If you’re #hungryindallas and tired of the go to tex-mex and italian, mobettahs might be the perfect place! This Hawaiian Style Restaurant is opening TOMORROW in #Plano!📍 I usually don’t go to the suburbs just for dinner so luckily there’s a location in Dallas too. 

I’ve never stepped foot in 🌺Hawaii so I can’t speak to he authenticity of this food but it sure tasted good. The owners are from Hawaii and started the franchise in Utah. The inside of the restaurant is inspired by the plantation lifestyle and their menu based on their favorite plates.

🍽At this event, they served most of the menu including the teriyaki, and Pulehu chicken, Kalua Pig. My favorites were the Katsu chicken and Teriyaki steak. Anything dipped in the Katsu sauce was taken up a notch 😍  It’s a ketchup based bbq sauce with a kick and I’m a big sauce girl so I really enjoyed it.

🥺I missed the P.O.G juice I saw on the menu which looked delicious and will have to try the shrimp next time. 

If you’re looking for a show stopping restaurant with a view, this might not be the place for you. But good food, welcoming staff and a unique experience? Mo Bettahs checks all those boxes.✔️

If you’re in Dallas they have a location near North Park Center, or this one is opening in Plano on March 4th. There’s only a handful of options for Hawaiian food in Dallas so try this one out next time you’re craving it!

Disclaimer, this was a complimentary tasting so I didn’t pay for the food, but their prices are reasonable, I would have spent about $17 on my plate. (More than your local chipotle but definitely tastier)
