It's been 53 days since I left my family in efforts to help NYC. It was never planned for me to be gone this long, but Queens was in desperate need of help. Thankfully, things are looking better now...staff who was out sick, are returning to work and the virus is slowing down. In the beginning, there was times I didn't think I was gonna make it. In 6 years of nursing, I've never been pushed to the limits I have here. I was strong before, but New York's a different beast and made me that much stronger.
I'm thankful for my experience here at Queens hospital bc with it came growth from being forced to step out of my comfort zone. I would've never thought that I'd be fighting on the frontlines of a pandemic, in the epicenter of it all.
Thank you God for shielding me with your protection and showing favor on my life! Thank you God for keeping me sane while I worked 46 of the 52 days I was in NY. There were people in NY waiting to see me fail, but he NEVER left my side! Some people play a dirty game, but God don't play about me and favors me in spite of my enemies! I was EXHAUSTED mentally and physically, but God kept my mind and health through it all!
Thanks to krucial staffing for this amazing experience. THANK YOU to all the people who looked out for ya girl! THANK YOU to everyone who uplifted me during my time here with words, prayers, donations and TikToks😂😂 Most importantly, THANK YOU to New York for allowing me to serve you and make a difference in history♥️🗽 I MADE IT HOME!! I was given less than a 24hr notice that I had to be out my hotel by 11am, the next day...on holiday weekend and there were NO available flights within reason to get me home. BIG THANK YOU to united for emailing me back at 10am telling me they could get me a FREE flight home THAT DAY and they checked 5 of my 7 bags for free! I told y'all-God don't play about me! GOD'S GOT ME COVERED, ALWAYS‼️
