Fake it ‘til I make it 🫠
REMINDER- check in on your ‘put together’ pals… 🤍 being put together or being well kept doesn’t always equate to being okay. 
There are so many times where I looked like my life was together, but internally I was struggling with my mental health, negative thoughts and emotions and just felt like I didn’t have anyone to turn to 🥹 I know first hand that it’s not easy opening up when you’re going through something. In fact, the story I’d tell myself was that I was alone in my suffering, or that no one wanted to hear it… which was FAR from the truth. When I finally did open up I kept hearing ‘I wish you’d told me sooner’. And that’s when I realized I’d done myself a disservice and kept myself a prisoner in my pain. 
So for those going through something right now, please don’t turn inward. Find one person to confide in, a trusted friend, a sibling to just hear you out. And if you’re the person on the receiving end, just listen without giving input or trying to problem solved. And always listen with love 🤍.
