Proximity to blackness, black culture, being married to someone black or birthing a black child does not magically erase or excuse racism and bigotry that has been ingrained over someone’s lifetime. There are plenty of people married to a black spouse that are racist, it’s just “hibernating”. Rest assured, if pushed far enough, that N-Word will pop out.
