About to board a plane to Turkey for a Yoga retreat in the hills. Apparently there’s no signal so I’m going to attempt to read 3 books this week!

This is what I’ll be diving into:

1.	Joy is my Justice by tanmeetsethimd

Tanmeet shows us that in our deepest, darkest you have a choice on how you choose to respond and choosing joy is an act of revolution. I watched Tanmeet speak at Media Genius and everything she says is beautifully backed by science (of course it is, she’s a fellow doctor! When she talks about emotions and pain, she takes you through the chemistry of what is going on in your body. If you love science or just crave a proper explanation of what happens to your brain and body and why, read this book.

2.	Tough Titties by laurabelgray

I’ve started reading this and it’s like someone took a Judy Blume character and hurled her into Upside Down from Stranger Things. What would living your best life look like when you’re the f**king worst? Laura’s husband described the book as Loser Sex and The City. If hanging out with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and not realising it makes you a Loser SATC character, bring it on! I mean did any of the SATC characters truly win? Do me a favour save some eyeball time, don’t watch AJLT S2 and ruin your joyful memories of SATC S1 and S2 , just read Tough Titties for a wild New York fix!

3.	Energize by simonalexandero

Everyone says I have big energy. The number of times people have asked me to bottle it up and sell it to them is wild! The truth is I’m a social introvert. I’ve learnt how to adapt to rooms of people from being an only child for most of my life and having to work in my parents’ shop (and spend time in developing countries from an early age and learning to be f**king grateful for every moment not hit by famine, political instability, war etc). However what's lead me to live a full life until now isn’t working anymore. So I’m looking forward to diving into this book during my retreat!
