Oregon State WR Jesse Legree announced he is returning to Corvallis in 2027… we’ve NEVER seen this in College Football. 😳

Oregon State freshman Jesse Legree returned home to Baltimore this week to sign on with the Beavers for the 2027-28 season, announcing his decision in the middle of the year. The three-star recruit currently leads the nation in receiving yards and touchdowns, and he’s ending any transfer talk months before the portal even opens.

The move has fans divided. Some see it as real loyalty to the program that believed in him, while others say it shows how much NIL has turned college football into something closer to pro free agency.

Is this the new normal, or a one-time situation?
