🚨 El colesterol no es toda la historia. Durante años el foco estuvo casi exclusivamente en el LDL, pero hoy sabemos que las lipoproteínas ricas en triglicéridos, como VLDL y sus remanentes, también participan de forma importante en la aterosclerosis y el riesgo cardiovascular. El exceso de carbohidratos refinados y azúcares puede favorecer triglicéridos elevados y una mayor producción hepática de VLDL.
