We were practically on the same flight as the GOAT 🐐 @cristiano 🤯 on our flight out of the Madeira airport, which is named after him. 🛫

From humble beginnings on the small Portuguese 🇵🇹 island of Madeira to becoming one of the greatest footballers of all time, Ronaldo’s story is the definition of relentless ambition, discipline, and elite mentality.

Raised in Madeira and developed at Sporting CP before exploding onto the global stage at Manchester United, Ronaldo became a Premier League icon, Champions League hero, and Ballon d’Or winner. His move to Real Madrid transformed him into a goal-scoring machine, breaking records in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, becoming Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer, and cementing himself in the GOAT debate alongside Lionel Messi.

At Juventus, he dominated Serie A, adding more league titles and continuing to stack historic goal numbers. Now starring in the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr FC, Ronaldo is pushing his total career goals toward the unprecedented 1000 mark — a milestone that would further separate him in football history. He already stands as one of the highest goal scorers ever, with 964 official senior career goals and counting 📈, multiple Champions League titles, European Championship glory with Portugal, and countless individual awards.

Yet one mission remains: lifting the FIFA World Cup. With the 2026 tournament set to be his “last dance,” Ronaldo has made it clear that winning the World Cup with Portugal is the ultimate dream before retirement. For soccer fans, football fans, and everyone invested in the Ronaldo vs Messi GOAT debate, the journey to 2026 adds another chapter to an already legendary career.

From Madeira to Manchester, Madrid, Turin, Manchester again, and now Saudi Arabia — Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy is still being written ✍🏻 📝 ⚽️
