📢 Exciting News! The Apache Junction Public Library is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $305,000 grant from the Arizona early childhood agency First Things First to continue our mobile parenting education classes across Pinal County with our amazing Fun Van program! This is the 13th year of the program, and we can't wait to bring the joy of learning and early childhood development to even more families in our community.

Did you know that the first five years of a child's life are crucial for brain development, early literacy, and language acquisition? We understand that caregivers of young children may need assistance in learning how to be their child's first and best teacher, ensuring their future school readiness and success. That's where Fun Van comes in!

With the generous support of First Things First, the Fun Van program bridges the gap by providing classes for both parents and young children. 🌈 Parents will benefit from engaging teacher-led discussions on various topics related to parenting and child development, while the children will have a blast enjoying interactive stories, developmentally appropriate activities and receiving free books! Moreover, they will have the opportunity to engage in positive social-emotional experiences that will contribute to their overall growth and well-being.

Calling all parents and caregivers of children aged 0-5!  We invite you to register for our free, 90-minute classes that will run for 8 consecutive weeks.
