## Caption

They say that all roads lead to Rome, but when it comes to Italy’s LGBTQIA+ community, they lead right to Milan’s Porta Venezia district. From the early 1970s onward, the district opened its doors and paved the way for a more inclusive city. It is now home to many bars, clubs, and cafés, offering a supportive space for everybody.

Tutte le strade portano a Roma, ma per la comunità LGBTQIA+ italiana passano anche da Milano, per le vie di Porta Venezia. Sin dall’inizio degli anni ’70, il quartiere ha aperto le sue porte e spianato la strada per una città più inclusiva. Oggi ospita molti bar, club e caffè che offrono uno spazio accogliente per tutti.
