July is Disability Pride Month ~ a time to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and challenges of those with disabilities. And later this month will mark the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act – landmark legislation that broke down barriers to inclusion in society. 

As we celebrate Disability Pride Month – we look forward to sharing the stories of people embracing their disabilities as integral parts of who they are. It is a time to come together, to uplift, and to inspire each other. Most importantly, Disability Pride Month is a time to amplify the message that we must all accept and honor each person’s uniqueness.
