When ella.woodhead was in middle school, her mom gave her this poster of maggie.steffens. 

Ella hung it up in her high school locker room, hoping to create a culture of hard work within her team and inspire her teammates. 

“Having strong role models in our national team athletes, like Maggie, was pivotal in why I fell in love with the sport and so so important for the growth of young water polo players.
