One of my most favorite state parks in Virginia! It’s actually only 1 of 2 bistate parks in the US as it’s partially in Virginia and Kentucky.

• 4,500 acre park in southwestern VA

• hiking, biking, picnicking, zip lining the canyon, canoe or kayaking, pedal boating, fishing on the Fork, birding, rock climbing, swim in the waterpark, elk tour

🦃 Wildlife

• one of my favorite things about this park is all of the abundant wildlife. Everytime I go I see tons of whitetail deer and wild turkeys. I’ve also seen rabbit, snakes, snapping turtles and tons of fish in the lake. 

🦌 Elk Tours

• @virginiawildlife and Breaks team up for elk tours. Learn about the restoration efforts to bring wild elk back to Virginia and see these amazing creatures up close. Hearing the male elks bugle is something you will never forget.
