😜 I will always want experiences over material things. It’s what makes me the happiest - doing and seeing as much as I can in the outdoors. 

❤️ These 5 experiences left a lasting impact on my heart and I can’t say enough good things about them. 

📍Enjoying Douglas Falls

🥾 a little over a 1/2 mile out and back to see this waterfall. Just be mindful of potholes on the road driving to the trailhead

📍Horseback riding at Lost River State Park 

🏇 Lost River Stables inside this state park offers rides of varying lengths and for all experience levels. I loved the 2 hr out and back ride to Cranny Crow overlook. 

📍Rail biking in Clay County

🚂 Unique and new to WV. They’re like e-bikes but on the train tracks. 2 or 4 seater options. These are repurposed abandoned trail tracks that are now used for this super fun activity @railexplorersusa 

📍Staying at Four Fillies Lodge

🏠 Love this place so much! I’ve stayed here 3 times now. Why is it so great? They have tons of various types of lodging to choose from: themed stays, couple stays, family stays. Featured in this video was the Glow Haus, but I’ve also stayed in the Storybook Cottage, and the Kilamonjaro Treehouse. And a beautiful creek runs right through the property. If you like trout fishing you’ll love this spot.  @fourfillieslodgewv 

📍Exploring New River Gorge National Park 

⛰️ So many reasons to love this park. It’s free to visit, no entry fees. There tons of incredible hikes like Long Point & Endless Wall trails. Fayette Station Road is a must do scenic drive that takes you under the bridge. And there are overlooks galore at Sandstone Falls, Canyon Rim and Grandview Visitor Centers. And oh the waterfalls. Kaymoor, Cathedral, Sandstone Falls you gotta check out.
